CMS Abandons Proposal to Require Clinical Trials Certification

From The Cancer Letter, Oct. 19, 2007:

CMS abandoned its proposal to require clinical investigators to certify that their clinical trials were consistent with 13 criteria before allowing reimbursement for routine medical costs for Medicare patients enrolled in trials. The plan ran into opposition on Capitol Hill.
